What is Clovate cream and what it is used for

Clovate belongs to a group of medicines called topical steroids. “Topical” means that it is applied to the skin. Topical steroids reduce the redness and itching of certain skin problems.Clovate cream reduces the effects of inflammation in skin conditions such as:

Difficult-to-treat eczema
Psoriasis, skin inflammation that causes red, itchy, and scaly skin (excluding disseminated plaque psoriasis)
Lichen planus (disorder of the skin and mucous membranes that causes inflammation and itching)
Discoid lupus erythematosus (rash that appears on the cheeks and nose).
